Strive For Power

Today I'd like to talk about a really fun, interesting game mostly for the doms out there. This is Strive For Power, a game where you build your own slave empire. If you've ever wanted to train slaves with kindness and love or brutally break them until they obey your every command and desire, then this is the game for you.

Starting off, you create a character with a few various customizations. This is primarily a text game, but there is the ability to add custom graphics so you can implement your own spin on how you think certain characters look (this works on you and your slaves). Whether you got your own custom characters you'd like to implement or want to roleplay something specific like being a goblin who breeds his own slaves or building your own personal monster girl harem, you will be spoiled for choice here.

In game, you choose how to proceed as you decide what you want to do. There is a "main story" quest you can follow, but it's rather short. Ultimately the game affords you more freedom than its sequel, which I also intend to cover but as both games offer their own unique style, this game is still very much its own to enjoy. This game is more relaxed, allowing you to just do what you want and build up your mansion and slaves. Once you get adjusted, you can focus on building your household, assigning jobs, going out to capture prisoners on the road to train/sell or build your own farm or crafting area. The game offers two ways to control your slaves as well, either through loyalty or fear. Depending on how you treat your slaves, they'll respond to you differently, as you'd expect. If you lose control of them by letting their loyalty or fear drop too much, they may refuse orders or even sneak off into the night. So do be wary of that. But mostly, you want to collect resources and just build up, stuff like money from selling slaves or goods or mana from sex.

Different traits also give some variety to how you build up your manor or interact with your slaves. Some are clingy and will require lots of attention from you, others may be ascetic which makes them cheaper as they don't require expensive care. These traits can often help or hinder depending on the situation but adds further flair to the already quite broad character system the game has.

Then there's the actual interactions with your slaves. Based on your Endurance, you get a certain number of non-sexual and sexual actions you can do per day. This is how you build your slaves loyalty or fear or even your relationships in general. If there's someone you are particularly interested in, you can eventually share a bed (possibly get married, I know it's a feature in the sequel but at the time of this writing, I couldn't find any options or info regarding it). The interactions themselves are pretty simple, you get a menu of options you can select from and choose accordingly. Different actions will result in different reactions, either positively or negatively. Getting to know the slave is important as you build up with them.

When you finally reach the stage of intimacy (or rape), you get the opportunity to dominate (or be dominated) by your slave(s). You get to control who does what and during the process, various desires will pop up that help spice up the actions. You can either do an action once, or set it to repeat allowing you to mix and match various things such as cunnilingus and blowjob, allowing you to essentially let the characters 69. If playing out the scenes yourself isn't your style, you can also set up a slave to "lead" in which they will perform all the actions themselves, you just need to click "observe" and then read what they are doing. The goal is to build up the "arousal" meters, and upon filling, an orgasm occurs. Orgasms are also not the end goal, getting more than one is important for mana generation.

In summary, the game offers a lot of nice, fun and unique gameplay if you are into sim-style games. Whether you just want a nice, calm relationship sim with one girl and slowly build up or you want to make a slavery empire, this game has a lot of potential. Even for submissive types, with features like letting the slave lead, it makes the game just as enjoyable. Basically, you get what you want out of the game, there's no right or wrong way to play it and it's actually very chill and relaxing.
